Uncashed Dividends and Dormant Share Accounts

Manulife Financial Corporation (“MFC”) is working with Abandoned Property Advisors (“APA”) to reunite shareholders with their uncashed dividend cheques or dormant share accounts.

MFC has retained APA to contact shareholders of MFC common shares whose account status at our Stock Transfer Agent, TSX Trust Company (“TSX”) is considered dormant or may have uncashed dividend cheques or both. A mailing has been sent by APA to our shareholders however you are under no obligation to use the services offered by them.

If you wish, you may deal directly with TSX to reactivate your account and/or have your uncashed dividends reissued. TSX may be contacted at 1-800-783-9495 (Canadian residents), 1-800-249-7702 (US residents) or via email to manulifeinquiries@tmx.com.

If you do wish to use the services offered by APA you must complete and sign the Authorization Form which was sent to you. There is a fee for APA’s service which is explained in the package. If you have further questions about this program, the contact number for APA is 1-866-393-1703.
